  We make use of our FRASCA 142 to cover basic instrument skills and system failures, which are difficult to replicate in the aircraft.  Your flight manual is the outline for the systems, procedures and performance of your aircraft.  The flight portion of your training is conducted in the weather in a controlled and non-controlled environment.
